Based in Manly on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Sam has been producing high-quality content for corporate and commercial clients since 2007.

Sam Page, founder of Velvet Sea Productions, began his creative journey as a professional surfer. But over time, his passion shifted from riding waves to capturing them through a lens.

With years of experience both behind the camera and in post-production, Sam has worked with a wide range of clients including Seafolly, Secret Sounds, Glue, ROC , Rachael Gilbert, Fireball, Hennessy, Dare Iced Coffee, Hype DC, Deputy, and Basil Bangs.

Alongside his commercial work, Sam has also filmed hundreds of weddings. An area he continues to be passionate about.

“I love the way you can find an amazing shot around every corner. It’s a ‘run and gun’ style of shooting that keeps you on your toes.”

Sam also understands the importance of blending into the background. At weddings, he knows his role is to shadow the lead photographer, capturing candid, authentic moments without disrupting the flow of the day.

While he loves the spontaneity of shooting, his true satisfaction comes in the edit suite, bringing all the moments together into one seamless, emotional timeline. But above all, the most rewarding part is hearing back from the bride and groom..
